Janet Little Jeffers

Janet is a self-taught photographer who finds inspiration in many forms from natural landmarks to abandoned industrial parks. Janet says, "It may seem a bit odd, but I get almost as excited when I see a junkyard as I do when I go to the Grand Canyon!"

Janet is inspired by the challenge of finding something beautiful amid the decay of man-made objects and structures. She reveals the interesting details and patterns that occur when nature reclaims what man has left behind.

An intuitive photographer, Janet rarely moves or manipulates objects. She uses the play of light, texture, color and shape and the interesting juxtapositions in our everyday lives to capture her images. With her training as a graphic designer and her love of Asian design, her images are relatively simple compositions with clean lines and intricate details.

Though Janet's artistic path has wandered through many fields from broadcasting to interior design, her passion is photography. She is well-traveled, but being home with her family is what Janet treasures most. In her spare time, Janet enjoys yoga, hiking, reading and discovering new music.
