Wild Apple's Short Run Capabilities Featured

Wild Apple's recent investment in printing technology is featured in an article on equipment manufacturer MGI's website. The ability to produce 100 unit runs of images up to 12"x36" in size has opened new doors for Wild Apple, whose minimum order quantity had previously been 500. "Time will tell if the investment pays off," said Sarah Donington (Key Account Sales), "but our customers seem to love it!"

 

Hurricane Irene Hits Woodstock Hard But Spares Wild Apple

Woodstock, Vermont received approximately 7 inches of rain in 12 hours from Hurricane Irene, causing serious flooding and taking out many roads. Despite flooding above the warehouse/office building's foundation, Wild Apple suffered no interior water damage. Wild Apple's Chesters Featured in Vermont Business Magazine

The July 2011 issue of Vermont Business Magazine presents a full feature profile of Wild Apple's founder-owners, John and Laurie Chester. The magazine's hard copy version was available in early July, and has now been published in full on their website (click here for article). The author, Joyce Marcel, regularly profiles Vermont business people in the monthly magazine. "I have been reading Joyce's articles for years," said John Chester, "so it's kind of a rush to be the subject of one. I never thought anyone could find so much to write about us. One friend said it took her two lunch breaks to read the whole thing!"

 

Wild Apple Among Best Places to Work in Vermont

Wild Apple earned a spot on the top 20 Best Places to Work in Vermont list, as rated by independent organization Best Companies Group in conjunction with Vermont Business Magazine and Vermont Chamber of Commerce.

The survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best workplaces in Vermont, companies that benefit the state’s economy, its workforce and its businesses.

The specific rankings of the top Best Places to Work in Vermont will be unveiled at an awards ceremony later this spring.
